The Seametrics LevelSCOUT 2X is a compact, high-accuracy water level and temperature data logger designed for long-term groundwater and surface-water monitoring.

Combining accurate pressure measurement, integrated data logging and a rugged 22 mm diameter 316 stainless steel housing, the LevelSCOUT 2X is ideal for deployment in boreholes, wells, piezometers and surface-water monitoring installations. A serviceable design, replaceable battery and market-leading 3-year warranty make it particularly suited to long-term monitoring programmes where reliability and whole-life cost are important.

Barometric Compensation

The LevelSCOUT 2X is an absolute pressure logger, measuring the combined effect of water and atmospheric pressure.

For accurate water-level measurement, changes in atmospheric pressure can be compensated using data from a Seametrics BaroSCOUT 2X. A single BaroSCOUT can provide barometric data for multiple LevelSCOUT loggers within the same monitoring area where atmospheric conditions are representative.

Aqua4Plus software provides straightforward tools for applying barometric compensation, configuring loggers and managing recorded data.
