Geotech GeoSub 2 Groundwater Sampling Pump

The Geotech GeoSub 2 is a compact, variable-flow submersible pump designed for groundwater sampling and well purging from depths up to 61 m.

Constructed from 316 stainless steel and controlled using the dedicated GeoSub 2 Controller, the system provides precise adjustment of pumping rate from low-flow sampling rates of approximately 10 mL/min through to higher-flow purging. Its 45 mm diameter allows deployment in 2" monitoring wells and larger.

Controlled Low-Flow Sampling

The GeoSub 2 Controller provides precise adjustment of pump output, allowing flow rates to be matched to individual well conditions.

For low-flow groundwater sampling, pumping rates can be reduced to minimise drawdown and disturbance within the monitoring well. The system can be used alongside a flow cell and multiparameter water-quality meter to monitor stabilisation parameters during purging and determine when representative sample conditions have been achieved.

Individual well settings can be stored in the controller, helping improve consistency and efficiency during repeat monitoring programmes.
